A stroke of success for the Western Quebec Golf Tournament
The annual Carrossier ProColor Western Quebec Golf Tournament was a great success! On May 20, 2010, at the Island of Montreal Golf Club, Carrossier ProColor hosted 104 golfers. Carrossier ProColor would like to thank its franchisees, Uni-Select members, supplier partners and its insurer partners for having participated in such great numbers!
GOOD WEATHER AND GOOD HUMOUR MET AT THE RENDEZ-VOUS!
The day started off on the right foot with an energizing brunch that contributed to the participants' gathering.
The sun was full and there was a most welcome breeze as the golfers sent off their first shot. Throughout the day, the golfers engaged in a friendly and relaxed game.
On the course, the golfers enjoyed refreshment stations with ice cream and smoothies offered by our supplier-partners and sponsors Mitchell International and Discount Car and Truck Rental.
Activities ended with a cocktail reception followed by the traditional prize drawing for those present and the prize awards for winners of contests on the course.
COMPETITION FOR A GOOD CAUSE
To add a little spice in the field while supporting a good cause, three competitions took place on the course. For a donation for the Children's Wish Foundation, a cause that Carrossier ProColor supports and has been dear to its heart since 2008, golfers had the chance to register to compete for the longest tee shot, on the first stroke green and closer to the hole. Thanks to the generosity of participants, Carrossier ProColor was able to give a gift of $1,200 to the Foundation for a cumulative total of over $120,000 since 2008.
EASTERN QUEBEC IN THE SPOTLIGHT
The Carrossier ProColor franchises in the regions of Québec, Saguenay, North Shore, Lower Saint-Lawrence and Chaudière-Appalaches as well as partners of the network will have their chance in turn to socialize at the annual Eastern Quebec Golf Tournament on September 2, 2010, at the Club de Golf de Lorette in Loretteville.
